What are Glucosamine and Chondroitin?
Glucosamine is an amino sugar that occurs naturally in the body and plays a role in the structure of cartilage. Health Leads uses glucosamine sulphate, a widely used form of glucosamine commonly included in joint support supplements.
Chondroitin is also naturally present in cartilage and contributes to its structural properties. Health Leads uses a high-quality marine chondroitin sulphate, rather than lower-grade bovine sources.
What does Glucosamine and Chondroitin do?
Glucosamine and chondroitin are commonly included in supplements designed to support normal cartilage and joint function.
As we age, the body’s ability to produce certain structural compounds involved in connective tissues may change. Glucosamine and chondroitin are therefore widely used in supplements intended to support an active lifestyle and normal joint health.
Suggested Adult Use
Take 1 capsule daily, ½ hour before meals, as a food supplement.
Do not exceed the stated dose unless directed by a healthcare professional.
This product is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
