Vitamin B6, also known as Pyridoxine, is a water-soluble B vitamin that plays an important role in many normal metabolic processes in the body. Because it is water-soluble, Vitamin B6 is not stored in significant amounts and must be obtained regularly through the diet.
Vitamin B6 occurs naturally in many foods including poultry, fish, eggs, wholegrains, legumes, potatoes and bananas.
