What is Malic Acid?
Malic Acid is a naturally occurring organic acid that belongs to the group known as alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs).
It occurs naturally in many fruits, particularly green apples, and is also found in grapes and rhubarb. The name malic comes from the Latin word mālum, meaning apple.
