Health Leads Folate provides 1000µg of L-Methylfolate (5-MTHF) per capsule — the naturally active form of Vitamin B9 — with rice flour as a filling aid and no other additives.
Folate is a water-soluble B vitamin (Vitamin B9) found naturally in foods including leafy green vegetables, legumes, wheat germ and liver. The form used in this product — L-Methylfolate (5-methyltetrahydrofolate / 5-MTHF) — is the bioactive form that the body can use directly, without requiring conversion by the MTHFR enzyme.
