Many Ginkgo Biloba products on the market are standardised to a specific percentage of flavonol glycosides (commonly 24%) or terpene lactones (commonly 6%). Standardised extracts are more concentrated and consistent in their active compound content. Whole leaf powder retains the full spectrum of naturally occurring compounds in the original leaf but at lower concentrations.
