Rosehip (Rosa canina) is the fruit of the wild rose plant, native across Europe, northwest Africa and western Asia. The hips — the red, fleshy fruits that develop after the flowers have fallen — have been used for centuries as a food ingredient and botanical supplement. Rosehip is a natural source of Vitamin C and contains a range of other naturally occurring plant compounds including flavonoids, carotenoids and polyphenols, which are characteristic of this botanical.
This product uses a 20:1 concentrated extract, meaning that 250mg of extract is derived from the equivalent of 5000mg (5g) of whole rosehip.
