Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) is a flowering plant native to the Mediterranean region and has a long history of traditional botanical use. It is also known as Marian Thistle and Saint Mary’s Thistle.
The seeds of the Milk Thistle plant naturally contain a group of plant compounds collectively known as silymarin. Rather than using a concentrated or standardised extract, this product provides 440mg of Milk Thistle seed per capsule in a straightforward whole-seed powder format.
